The Anakapalli District Police has been receiving an encouraging response to its employee welfare initiative, “SP-Sampark,” a dedicated phone-in programme introduced under the guidance of Superintendent of Police Tuhin Sinha, IPS . Designed to strengthen communication between senior officials and field-level staff, the initiative is emerging as an effective platform for police personnel to directly convey their concerns and grievances.

From constables to home guards, personnel across the district are making use of the programme to bring issues to the attention of higher authorities without procedural hurdles. The initiative primarily focuses on narrowing the gap between leadership and staff while ensuring quicker grievance redressal.

In the latest session conducted at the District Police Office, Additional SP L. Mohana Rao personally interacted with staff members over the phone and heard their concerns. Police personnel from various departments contacted the dedicated helpline number 93469 12011 to discuss matters related to postings, internal transfers, leave requests, and health-related difficulties faced by their family members.

Responding promptly, the Additional SP instructed concerned officials to examine each complaint thoroughly and ensure resolution within a fixed timeframe. He emphasized that the programme was created to provide employees with a transparent and confidential mechanism to express their problems without the need to repeatedly visit offices.

The “SP-Sampark” programme is being held regularly every Friday between 11 am and 12 noon . Complaints received during the session are digitally documented and monitored by senior officers until they are fully resolved. Inspectors Bala Surya Rao and Lakshmi , AO C.H. Tilak Babu , Office Superintendent Pratap Seshaiah , along with other police personnel, took part in the programme.
